Marea AI S.A.C. is a Peruvian company with offices in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. We connect companies in Peru and Latin America directly with Chinese machinery manufacturers: we select the right factory, inspect quality before shipment and support installation and after-sales in Spanish.
Our story
Why “Marea”?
In Spanish, marea means tide — the steady force that moves across the Pacific and reshapes the coast a little every day. For us it also stands for trade across that ocean: equipment built in China, put to work in Peru.
Marea AI was founded in Lima to make buying equipment from China simpler and safer for producers in Peru. Chinese manufacturers offer a wide range of processing and packaging equipment, but distance, language, technical specifications and after-sales support often get in the way.
We work in between: we talk to manufacturers in Chinese and to your plant team in Spanish, specify the equipment for your product, follow it through manufacturing and shipping, and stay with you after commissioning. Our solutions are fruit deep processing — a natural fit for one of the world’s leading fruit exporters — and waste treatment and resource recovery.
And the “AI” in our name? We add automation, data and AI to the lines we supply, from optical sorting to a Spanish-language assistant for equipment manuals.
